We’ve been having good luck with our movie choices lately.
A few weeks ago we watched The Kid Who Would Be King and thoroughly enjoyed it. A fun mix of humor, adventure, and lessons about living up to one’s potential.
I was also interested in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, though it looked a little intense for me. But it was so great! Humorous, amazing martial arts sequences, and portions of it were set in San Francisco (which makes everything more fun).
And last night we watched Disney’s latest, Encanto, and I truly was enchanted by this movie. The colors, the music, the characters, the sense of kaleidoscopic movement…all supporting a story that has you reflecting on life’s meaning and purpose. Absolutely beautiful.
