I’m really loving these messages that have been coming my way. 😄
This one is perfect for looking ahead to a relaxing Saturday.
Wishing you all a great “grassy” weekend. Enjoy your ice cream!
(not necessarily in that order)
This meme caught my eye on Facebook and the melody immediately filled my brain. No matter that I hadn’t listened to or thought of it in probably three or four decades!
So today I decided to give it listen for old times’ sake and discovered (well, re-discovered, I guess) that it was a song by the Carpenters (what a beautiful voice Karen Carpenter had!).
A sweet message to kick off the weekend.
Yep, we (Ramesha and I) successfully negotiated the first week of daily radiation.
I know subtle but powerful changes are happening in my body as a result of the radiation, but I believe the daily drive into town is also responsible for a large percentage of the increased tiredness I feel.
One more week after this and the radiation phase of my treatment will be finished. Yay!
In the meantime, I’m really ready for this weekend!
I’m quite ready to kick back and do next to nothing for the next 24 hours or so.
Happy Friday, y’all!
No, that’s not my pizza…at least, not yet. 😄
Going home to experiment with making a low carb pizza right now.
Wishing you a fun weekend, wherever you are!
There’s something about New Year’s Eve being on a Friday, and New Year’s Day on Saturday, that makes the whole weekend all about new year energy.
At least, I think that must be why I haven’t been able to settle to much of anything in these days. I’m hoping I’ll feel a shift into productivity tomorrow.
In the meantime, here’s another meaningful quote for the new year.
After a day of multiple meetings and big decisions, on top of a long and intense week, this really resonated!
Every time I read it I find myself heaving a huge sigh, releasing just a little more of the accumulated stress and strain.
I hope it does the same for you. Happy weekend. Have an ice cream.
This was one of those weeks — lots going on in the music ministry; Inner Renewal Week classes every day; multiple meetings; and last week of my 28 day challenge — WHEW!
I am definitely ready for a laid back Friday night and some actual R & R time over the weekend.
Wishing the same for you as well!
This not a great combination this late in the day on a Friday. So, I think I’ll call it quits and go for a twilight walk instead.
The internet won’t even let me download a picture (you know it’s bad when even Task Manager says “not responding”)!
What the heck — have a great weekend everyone!
…and a quietly beautiful end to a crazy week.
May your weekend be filled with peaceful repose and joyful fun. 🥰
