A powerful thought and image to end the week.
Here’s to a beautiful weekend!
This morning was a chance to rest and recover a bit from our busy LA weekend, while the afternoon was spent catching up on organizational details and lots of emails. Then we had choir and ensemble rehearsal in the evening.
Needless to say, finding the time to share more fully about our time in LA is something I’m still looking forward to!
“DO NOT SCHEDULE ANYTHING (S.T.O.)!
This is what we wrote in our calendar for today and tomorrow (by the way, S.T.O. = Sacred Time Off).
We’ve been really (and I do mean really) looking forward to this, to the point where we had to laugh at ourselves for being sooo excited about (drum roll, please!) — a weekend!
But the reality is that working for a church means you rarely have a leisurely Sunday morning off. And our Saturdays are often filled with retreats or special events or — most recently — recording sessions.
Monday is our official “day off,” but that’s also when we drive to town and run errands, though we do try to carve out time together over coffee or a meal.
So, yeah. This is exciting!
The above photo has absolutely no relation to the weekend that’s in front of me —
Tomorrow morning is Rajarsi Day, when I’ll be helping with Temple of Light landscaping-related duties; tomorrow afternoon we have a satsang with Ananda Australia; Sunday morning is service; Sunday late afternoon the music team has an early dinner in town to celebrate accomplishments, travels, returns, healings, birthdays, and new beginnings.
Then we head into a new week, with our Patreon video to create; choir and ensemble rehearsals to lead; our own music and solos to learn/rehearse; and the many details of SRW to prepare.
Upon deeper reflection, the above photo will serve to focus my vision…of manifesting several days or even a week on a lake or at the coast, sitting and relaxing next to a body of water.
The Joy Singers recorded all day today and we’ll be at it again tomorrow.
More to be revealed soon, but tonight I’m done in and ready for bed.
Feels like a fitting end for a long, full couple of weeks.
Happy weekend! 😄
What a wonderful bedtime affirmation this is.
And so ends an amazing weekend.
I don’t know who combined this Jyotish painting with the image of the spiritual eye, but I love it and thought it would be a beautiful vision on which to end the week.
Have a blessed weekend, everyone!
Just a beautiful thought to take into the weekend. 💗
I feel this is the perfect way to end my rather up and down week. After all, laughter is good for both body and soul.
Hope everyone reading this has a lovely weekend.
