Coming soon: The Christmas Mystery

I’ve been focusing so much energy on finishing our new Christmas album, that I haven’t been talking about it all that much. However, “The Christmas Mystery” is almost here and I really am super-excited!

The official launch date is December 4, with pre-sales beginning on November 13 (I’ll be sure to share the link when I have it).

Our singing group, The Ananda Joy Singers, will be celebrating the release of the CD with a special World Premiere Concert presented by Ananda Sacramento & Crystal Clarity Publishers.

The concert is a week from this Sunday — on November 17, from 4:00-5:00 pm at the Ananda Sacramento Mandir. For more information & to register online CLICK HERE.

Come join us if you live anywhere remotely close by!

The Christmas Mystery

Thrilled to finally be able to share the Ananda Worldwide Virtual Choir version of this beautiful, beautiful song by Swami Kriyananda! It was part of our Christmas concert, but is totally worth sharing on its own as well.

I remember how puzzled I was when I first heard this song, because it seemed to be a “classic” traditional carol and I couldn’t understand how I had never heard it before!

World Brotherhood Day 2020

This evening we kicked of our (adjusted) holiday season by celebrating World Brotherhood Day entirely online! As with so many other events throughout this remarkable year, creativity and expansive thinking carried the day and it ended up being more inspiring than ever!

The interactive breakout sessions were great fun, but my favorite moment was the spontaneous sing-along of “The Christmas Mystery” after the event was officially “over” — pure bliss!

Proof of our time in LA!

Wow! Look what I happened upon the other day…

It’s the video “Christmas greeting” (and year-in-review) from the Joy Singers, showing what we’d been up to that year. Amazing that this was only 2012; it feels like a lifetime ago!

We sang everywhere from churches to cafes, and from Skid Row to the farmers market (plus many other points in-between), in our quest to “get the music out”. What an experience.

And, yes, the music is the recording of The Christmas Mystery that we did that year.
