Ready to be done

We spent the morning with our recording tech guys, mixing and mastering the two songs that we’ll be sharing as singles from our soon-to-be-launched Christmas album.

Then I tackled some fairly hefty tasks this afternoon.

And now I really don’t feel like typing another sentence. Yep, I’m truly done for the day!

Completely done in

Sometimes when you’re done, you’re done (if you know what I mean).

And this is one of those days when I’m so beyond done that I’m crispy fried.

A marathon day

This was one of those days that never end. I started early and just kept going.

Why? Because there was something I had put off and put off, but it had to be completely finished today.

Of course, it was bigger and more involved than I remembered. But at least now it’s done.

Sunday: day of rest…NOT!

This was one of those Sundays…

Up early for rehearsal before Sunday service.

More apartment clearing in the afternoon.

Then off to the office to work for a while.

Now it’s 8:00pm and I’m done. 😂

Time to chill

It’s been a full week, that finished up with the accomplishing of some rather large tasks.

So, I’m feeling pretty done; ready to chill out and take it easy.

Ramesha and I have been reflecting on our need for some serious time off and I’m strongly feeling that in this moment as well.

Done, done, and DONE!

Done as in finished.

Done as in “a little crispy” (cooked).

Done as in, “Hallelujah, this wonderful but l-o-n-g week is over!”

Day off? Ha!

Monday used to be our “day off,” but such distinctions have pretty much gone by the wayside in these topsy-turvy days.

Yes, I got a lot done, but it’s been the kind of intense day that has left me feeling like “toast” and more than ready to turn off the computer and be done with it.
