A prayer card for Mary

Mary Kretzmann touched an amazing number of souls in the more than four decades that she led Ananda’s Healing Prayer Ministry. The outpouring of love, prayers, tributes, and stories from all around the world has been deeply inspiring.

There was a beautiful service for Mary last night and today I wanted to share this beautiful prayer card that was created by Dinah, a member of Ananda’s Virtual Community.

It’s all been very moving.

Sharing with Virtual Community

Today we had the great pleasure of spending time with members of the Ananda Virtual Community in their weekly “Say Yes to Life!” satsang.

We shared about what living in spiritual community has meant to us, and how important Ananda’s music is to living in community.

We also answered some great questions on a wide variety of topics.

What a joy to be able to have satsang in real time with people in California, on the East Coast, and in the UK!

Oratorio, Oratorio, Oratorio

2015 Oratorio at Ananda Village

Tomorrow is our second “Exploring Ananda Music” monthly music satsang for Ananda’s Virtual Community and we’re looking forward to focusing on the Oratorio.

Starting with Swami Kriyananda’s original inspiration, we’ll also share how he went about writing it, the way it’s been received in performances around the world, and our personal experiences with this powerful and sacred music.

Of course, there will be a little bit of singing too.

It should be both fun and inspiring.

And, of course, it’s a great lead up to our LIVE Oratorio performance on Good Friday, April 15 at 7:00pm in the Temple of Light (yep, a shameless plug!). 😉

Virtual community fun

Ramesha and I had such fun this morning.

We finally manifested a longtime goal of doing a satsang about music for the Ananda Virtual Community and it was a total and complete joy!

In attendance were virtual community members from nearby (Nevada City and the Bay Area), far away (Florida, Alaska, Canada), and various points in between (Nevada, Oregon, Texas).

There were people who’ve been devotees for thirty or forty years, and those who found Ananda in the last few years.

But what there was most of all, was the feeling of community, of enjoying satsang with spiritual friends, and feeling our shared devotion, dedication, and love for Master, Swamiji, our path, and this music.

Wow. I just can hardly believe how fortunate and blessed I am.

If you’d like to explore the possibility of joining together with spiritual seekers from all around the world, you should definitely check out what the Ananda Virtual Community has to offer.
