A little crabby

I’ve been feeling a little crabby and wondering if it’s because Mercury is going retrograde in a few days (yes, thanks to my Gemini sun being ruled by Mercury, I really do feel the retrograde energy).

On the other hand, it could be that I need more downtime but can never seem to figure out when or how to fit it in. Which makes me seriously cranky.

Ah well, I’m hoping an early night and a good rest will help me rise above my cranky crabbiness by tomorrow.

  1. Or some broccoli. Master’s recipe!

    BRAISED BROCCOLI
(Spinach or Swiss Chard may be used instead of broccoli).
Shred 1/4 cup each of carrot and onion and put in baking dish. Broccoli – if fresh from your garden – should stand for at least 2 hour in cold salted water to draw out insects, if any. Wash broccoli, cut into fairly small pieces and place on top of the other vegetables. Cover with well-seasoned vegetable stock, cover dish and bake until tender. A Paramhansa Yogananda recipe from his early lessons

    BRAISED BROCCOLI

1 lb. broccoli – washed and cut into small pieces Vegetable stock seasoned with vegex or savita
Put carrot and onion in bottom of buttered baking dish. Add broccoli. Cover with the well seasoned stock. Cover and bake until tender. Spinach or Swiss Chard may be used in place of the broccoli.
