I couldn’t for the life of me come up with an interesting topic for today’s blog, so gave in and started looking a photo that could represent being “stuck” or “blocked”.
But — lo and behold — I started to see photos of building blocks that were exactly the same as what I played with in the primary grades at Joseph Weller Elementary School.
Hadn’t thought of those blocks in over fifty years, but positive memories flooded my mind as soon as I saw them. And I find it fascinating that — despite it seeming like something from several centuries ago — I still felt such a strong, visceral response.
I must have really liked playing with those blocks!
